Do Finglas Childcare operate a waiting list?
All applications are put on the waiting list and processed by date of application. Circumstances such as current vacancies, age of child, sibling attending and referrals process will impact on enrolments.
How old does my child have to be to start creche?
Children can attend from one year of age.
Does my child have to be toilet trained to attend ECCE?
No, all children start the toilet training process at home and the child’s key worker will liaise with the parent/guardian to support the process in creche.
Do you participate in the National Childcare Scheme, ECCE or AIM?
Finglas Childcare Ltd participate in all three.
Can I send my child to creche for 2 days per week?
The service offered is for 5 days per week.
How do I pay my creche fee?
Fees are paid weekly by standing order.
Do I have to pay if my child does not attend?
Yes, please refer to fees policy.
Is there a settling in period?
Children usually settle in gradually over two weeks.
Do I have to give notice when my child is leaving?
Yes, 2 weeks notice is required.
Can I pay for additional hours in addition to ECCE hours?
Yes, depending on availability.
