Finglas Childcare has sponsored a Community Employment Project in different forms since 1993. In 2014, we were tasked by the DEASP to be the lead organisation to roll out the new Community Employment Childcare QQI 5 Training and Development Programme. Finglas Childcare offers Community employment positions in the following areas:

1. Childcare
2. Housekeeper/Cook
3. Maintenance/Cleaning
4. Admin/Reception

To qualify for a Community employment position, you must be 21 years of age and in receipt of a DEASP payment for over one year. All applicants will require Garda vetting.

Finglas Childcare use a temporary panel of staff to cover short term contracts and when additional cover is needed. Candidates must have a minimum QQI 5 childcare qualification and applicants will require Garda vetting.
